Can't Handle the Herd

The "Great White Buffalo" are our Sunday Soccer League Division 1 champions after a thrilling championship game.

Throughout the season "Great White Buffalo" kept a great spot near the top of the table. Their lone loss of the season came to the very same squad they would defeat in the championship game, "Muddy Boots." Maybe that 5-2 loss just a few weeks ago was just the kick "Great White Buffalo" needed to win this championship game. After that loss they picked up back-to-back 5-1 wins and looked to be in great shape going into the championship game.

In the championship game both "Great White Buffalo" and "Muddy Boots" were on even terms going blow for blow with chances. But, what's a championship game without some extra playing time? That's exactly what we got as the game went into extra time, and eventually to penalty kicks. During the penalties "Great White Buffalo" would make due with their shots, knocking home four, while "Muddy Boots" was only able to slot home two goals. When all was said and done, it was a 4-2 win in PK's for "Great White Buffalo.

Congrats to "Great White Buffalo" on a fantastic season in Division 1, and we look forward to seeing this indy team defend their title in our next season in a couple of months.

"Deez" Nets 3 to Win Championship

"Deez Nuts!" are our Sunday Soccer League Division 2 champions following a convincing 3-1 victory.

"Deez Nuts!" got off to a fantastic start to their season by picking up four straight wins, including a 6-2 win in their first game, and right away took hold of the top spot in the table. But, in week 5 they ran into "Second-half Team" who would give them their first and only loss of the season, dropping the game by the score of 3-2. "Deez Nuts!" followed that up with a 3-3 draw, but in the week before the championship game were able to get things back on track with a 4-0 win.

The championship game featured a "Deez Nuts!" and the only team to give them a loss during the season in "Second-half Team." Unlike in their previous matchup "Deez Nuts!" was ready for what the opponent had for them and were able to keep the offense of "Second-half Team" at bay. Not only that, they were able to pick up three goals themselves en route to their 3-1 championship win.

Congrats to "Deez Nuts!" on their great season as an indy squad, and we hope to see them come back together next season.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
