Buddy Up!

The "Thunder Buddies" are our latest Sunday Kickball champion, taking down the defending champion in a crazy close game.

All season long "Thunder Buddies" played with 9, but they were anchored by dynamic infield play. They lost a close 4 - 3 game to start the day to #1 seed "Pass The Bunt", though you could see them finding their groove as the game wore on. Specifically, they gave up 4 runs in the first inning, but were able to lock it down the rest of the game. They would also score 3 runs in the final inning to make the game interesting.

In the championship game things were tight throughout, tied 1-1 up to the 5th inning. They would start the inning with a lead off home run, then put together 3 more runs to take a 5-1 lead. In the bottom half of the inning "Pass the Bunt" showed their championship pedigree, scoring 3 runs and nearly forcing extra innings. However, it wasn't enough and our champions are now the "Thunder Buddies"!

Overall our champs end their season with a strong 7-2 record, their only 2 losses coming at the hands of "Pass the Bunt". "Thunder Buddies" would get the last laugh though, taking down last season's winners when it mattered most.

Congratulations to "Thunder Buddies" on the incredible season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
