“Plan B” are the Tuesday Soccer Champions of the Late Spring ‘22 season, after defeating “Practice Squad” 3-2!
“Plan B” came into the playoffs as one of the favorites to take home the title. Their incredible offense is why they finished as one of the top teams in their division, but their impressive defense and amazing teamwork was the main reason they made it to the finals. The championship started off very evenly matched, with neither team being able to pull away from the other. But that all changed when “Plan B” scored an unbelievable goal midway through the first half to take the lead. “Practice Squad” kept applying pressure to “Plan B’s” defense, but “Plan B” stayed strong and did not allow them to score in the first half. The second half started off as a defensive battle, but “Practice Squad” was able to score a goal of their own to tie it up. It looked like the championship was up for grabs, but “Plan B” turned up the heat and scored two more goals to take a commanding 3-1 lead. “Practice Squad” scored a last minute goal to give them one final chance to pull off a miracle, but “Plan B” was able to hold them off and won the championship 3-2!
