“Sandy Dee’s” are the Advanced Sand Volleyball champions of the Late Spring ‘22 season, after defeating “Rainbow Rolls” 2-1!
"Sandy Dee’s" entered the playoffs as one of the favorites to win the Championship, but “Rainbow Rolls” did not make it easy for them. “Rainbow Rolls” scored four straight points to start off the championship, convincing everyone that they would continue their dominance from the regular season. But everything changed once “Sandy Dee’s” scored their first point. “Sandy Dee’s” used bump, set and spike to perfection and rattled off 7 points in a row. Once they took the lead, they never looked back! “Sandy Dee’s” dominated the first game with a score of 21-16! Game two was much more competitive. “Rainbow Rolls” played very well and showed off their power at the net, and won the second game 21-14. The championship was up for grabs and it all came down to the third and final set. The final match started out as a nail biter, but “Sandy Dee’s” phenomenal teamwork helped them pull away in the third set. “Rainbow Rolls” played their hearts out, but “Sandy Dee’s” were just too hot to handle in the last game. “Sandy Dee’s” went on to win the third match 21-10 in dominant fashion and took home the championship!
