Congratulations to "Washed Kings" for becoming the Monday Basketball Champoins!

“Washed Kings” are the Monday Basketball Champions of the Fall ‘23 Season, after defeating “Old Gunners” 2-0!

It was the playoffs for Monday basketball last night and it didn’t disappoint. “Washed Kings” and the “Old Gunners” met in the championship and no one knew who was going to walk away as the champions of Monday basketball. “Washed Kings” came out on fire in the first game, they couldn’t miss a shot and they dominated on the defensive end. Their defense didn’t allow the “Old Gunners” offense to get anything going for most of the first game. With a few minutes left, the “Old Gunners” offense started to heat up but it was too late. “Washed Kings” made two impressive shots back to back and won the first game 21-4.

“Washed Kings” started game two with the same energy by playing smart basketball on the offensive end and suffocating their opponent with their defense. Their scoring ability was almost effortless and it was incredible to watch. With 12 minutes left “Old Gunners” scored their first points of the game, which gave them the boost they needed to keep the championship competitive. It all started with them playing strong defense and not allowing “Washed Kings” to score any points for a few minutes. At the 8 minute mark “Washed Kings” were finally able to score a few buckets back to back which gave them a little bit of a cushion. “Old Gunners” were able to find a rhythm at the midway point which kept the game close until the end. Both teams played their hearts out and for a second it looked like “Old Gunners” were going to force a third and final game, but “Washed Kings” had the championship in their sights and no one was going to stop them. “Washed Kings” made one final three to win the game 21-14!

Congratulations to “Washed Kings” for becoming the Monday Basketball Champions of the Fall ‘23 Season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
