The Tangarang Gang Has Got The Goods

Our Spring 2015 Thursday Soccer season wrapped up last night as the top two teams in the league squared off in the championship game to determine once and for all which team ruled the pitch on Thursdays.

Tangarang FC entered play as the favorite having never tasted the bitterness of defeat the entire season. However, their opponents Team A had a very solid season as well and if the two regular season contests between these squads was any indication we were in for a great game. Tangarang FC got the best of one of those earlier matchups by the smallest of margins winning a 1-0 nail bitter and the second game was a classic that ended in a 2-2 tie.

On this night however it was all Tangarang FC. They came out blazing, taking the action to Team A's side of the field early and often. Great teamwork and offensive skills were on display as the talented Tangarang FC gang scored early and never looked back, eventually winning the championship by a 4-1 final score.

Congratulations to Tangarang FC and to all of the teams that competed in a great Soccer season.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
