"Alternative Sacks" is our Friday night Cornhole champion once again! They'd finish with an 8-1-1 overall record, including 6-1-1 through the regular season.
For the third time in a row, "Alternative Sacks" (formerly known as Sac to the Future) has taken the title on Friday night, wading through a tough playoff bracket with relative ease. As the #2 team they received a first round bye, and then took out #3 "Quadruple Penetration" by the score of 3-1.
Unfortunately the top team through the regular season, "Glory Holes", couldn't say the same. They were knocked off in an upset by "Billy the Kid and the 2 Live Crew" in a nail-biting 3-2 win, setting up our championship. As the only team to beat "Alternative Sacks" all season, it was a bummer for "Glory Holes".
In the championship it was all "Alternative Sacks", dominant from start to finish and sweeping their opponent 3-0. Nothing could go wrong, as their championship pedigree was on full display, keeping calm and relaxed under pressure.
Congratulations once again to "Alternative Sacks" on the 3-peat!
