“Crunchwrap Crows” are the Friday Softball Champions of the Spring ‘23 season, after defeating “The Hit Squad” 8-5!
It was the playoffs for Friday softball last night, and it did not disappoint! Both “Crunchwrap Crows” and “The Hit Squad” have an impressive offense, so everyone was ready for the fireworks and that’s exactly what they got. “Crunchwrap Crows” was able to jump out to an early lead with some incredible base running and timely hitting in the first couple innings. “Crunchwrap Crows” was oozing with confidence after their offensive explosion in the first few innings, but “The Hit Squad” was ready for the challenge and was not afraid of an uphill battle. “The Hit Squad” was able to score a few runs of their own, but “Crunchwrap Crows” could not be stopped at the plate. “The Hit Squad” played their hearts out, but they could not stop the “Crunchwrap Crows” powerful offense. It was a championship game for the ages, but “Crunchwrap Crows” was able to hold off “The Hit Squad” and won the championship 8-5!
