“Chrunchwrap Crows” are the Friday Softball Champions of the Summer ‘23 Season, after defeating “Swamp Donkeys” 7-3!
“Chrunchwrap Crows” came into the championship as one of the favorites to take home the title, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Swamp Donkeys” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Chrunchwrap Crows” lost to the “Swamp Donkeys” during the regular season, so they were ready to exact their revenge, but “Swingers” were not going down without a fight. The first few innings were a defensive battle with both teams only scoring one run. It was anyone's game, until “Chrunchwrap Crows” scored four runs late in the game to give them the lead. “Swamp Donkeys” came right back and scored two runs of their own to make it close till the end, but “Chrunchwrap Crows” defense stayed strong in the last few innings and prevented “Swamp Donkeys” from scoring another run. “Chrunchwrap Crows” incredible teamwork and impressive defense gave them the edge they needed to win the championship 7-3!
